Here are some more from BJ:

You all need to know these names are from our "DAR Patriot Index" and the entries only mean there has been lineage proven on these individuals. If you are serious about proving your line, there is a way to get the information used for documentation.

I'm a "9 Ancestor DAR" and have spent 7 years in the role of proving linage on this stuff, and believe me it has to be clearly documented and proven before membership is granted!

Now - I'm ALSO a Docent at the National Archives, Western Region, and there are several more Dutchers that haven't been used for application. They DO however, appear in the "Revolutionary Pensions Files" at the Archives, and since no one has documented for DAR, these will be a REAL puzzle for you!

1. Abraham, enlisted at Fishkill, witness was brother David. When he applied in 1818 in Hudson Falls, he says his wife is "Elizabeth".

2. Barnet, In application he says he married "Charity" in 1791. Charity was a widow and had daughter Hannah Crawford. Barnet died 15 January 1827.

3. Cornelius, married Mary, September 1782 or 1783, Livingston Manor, Dutchess County. Cornelius died 31 January 1839. NOTE: Mary applied for pension as Mary BUCK but pension was denied because Mary couldn't produce military documents. She stated his brother "Rulouf" burned the records as being of no use!

4. Henry, born 30 July 1751, died after 1830 in Ohio. No family mentioned in military records.

5. Jacob, born 14 August, 1832, Phillipstown, Dutchess Co. No mention of family.

6. Simeon G. born circa 1753, after the war lived in Clarerack, Greenbush and West Brunswick. No mention of family. (He went AWOL for 3 weeks and was sentenced to one fornight's hard labor!)

7. Simeon S. In 1814 married Lydia Scouten (she died 6 April 1864 in Green, MI), he then married 8 May 1866, a widow, Mary Ann McFee. In 1882 Mary received a widow's pension - she was then a resident of Mecosta Co., MI.

8. Solomon Born 13 June 1759, Oblong, Dutchess Co. He died age 99 (circa 1858) at Otsego.

9. William. Never sought pension but application made by son, Daniel. Wm. married Catherin Conklin, Rockland Co., in 1766. Wm. died at Greensburg 13 Oc 1794.
